Equity Democrats

Principle

Contribution

People who participate in producing economic or social value should have their contributions recognized when resulting claims are assigned.

Contribution is broader than wage labor alone.

People contribute through work, care, creativity, risk, information, attention, judgment, cultural production, community stewardship, and democratic participation.

Equity Democracy asks who participated in creating value before deciding who should receive the resulting claim.
